Our office is located in Cordova, TN, which is a hop, skip, and a jump from Memphis International Airport. Why does that matter? FedEx Express is the world’s largest airline, with over 600 planes in the sky each day, and Memphis is their largest hub. Being right down the road lets us do things no one else can.
Second-Day Air Standard
Our location and high shipment volume means that we can use second day air and still keep the round-trip shipping rates competetive. That’s great for everyone.
Tracking Numbers
Everybody loves tracking numbers. Lucky for us, using FedEx Express gives us detailed tracking information on all our shipments, both ways. This means:
- You get to see where your shipment is at any time. Log in to your LensRentals account, click on your order, and hit the Track button. Great, isn’t it?
- We know when your shipment arrives. This lets us count your rental from the day it arrives, rather than from the day we ship.
- We know when your return shipment is sent. This lets us help you if you forget to send your stuff back; we give you a reminder same-day, reducing your late fees, or eliminating them if you scramble to a place with a late shipping cutoff.
Our system is smart, and tracking information makes it even smarter. It alerts us to potential problems before they turn into real ones. For example, if you’re not around to sign for the package on the first delivery attempt, that makes your rental start a day late. If your rental starts a day late, that means it will come back a day later. But what if FedEx holds it over a 3-day weekend? Then it’s three days late, potentially shifting around the schedule enough to make us overcommitted on another order needing that same item. We’re notified of issues like this automatically, and with enough lead time to do whatever needs to be done.
