 The ProMix 3 is a battery operated field mixer that accepts inputs from 3 lines, with each input individually switched so that multiple source types could be used at the same time, with a separate low-cut filter for each input channel. Each input provides individually adjustable +48V phantom power. The XLR outputs are adjustable on a line or microphone level and each output channel has an output limiter. There are also headphone, tape and microphone-out connectors (for non-XLR cameras). Output peak limiting minimizes overloaded output signal, eliminating distortion and noisy recordings. A 1/8 inch tape output jack allows monitoring from video cameras and field recording devices, resulting in more accurate, noise free recordings. The LED output is easy to read even in sunlight, making it suitable for outdoor work. It takes two 9 volt batteries that power it up to 6-8 hours. (they are not included though).
