Note: This grip is compatible with the Canon 40D and 50D cameras only. We rent it only with rental of our Canon 40Ds or 50Ds.
The BG-E2 holds two BP-511 battery packs, doubling the number of shots available on a single charge. It can also accept six AA batteries as an emergency power backup when on location. The vertical shutter release button makes it easy to shoot with the camera in ‘portrait’ position.
