Battery Grip BG-E5
Note: This grip is compatible with the Canon T1i camera only. We rent it only with rental of our Canon T1is.
The BG-E5 holds two LP-E5 battery packs, doubling the number of shots available on a single charge. It can also accept six AA batteries as an emergency power backup when on location. The vertical shutter release button makes it easy to shoot with the camera in ‘portrait’ position.
When you rent a grip with the camera, we will automatically include a total of two batteries in the grip.
We do not ship the AA battery tray with our grips by default. If you want the AA tray, leave a note on your order and we will include it.
