Bush Hawk Shoulder Support
The Bush Hawk is a unique support system for shooting in the field when a tripod or monopod may be inconvenient. Basically the BushHawk is a shoulder stock which the camera and lens is mounted to with a remote shutter release in the ‘pistol grip’ of the stock. The photographer sites and shoots photographs in the same way one would shoot a rifle.
The BushHawk won’t provide the stability of a tripod obviously, but is far steadier than simply handholding and the stability is instantly available without having to set up for the shot. It also allows intuitive tracking of birds in flight or other rapidly moving subjects.
The electronic shutter release cables are camera specific. The Canon version will work with all Canon SLRs except the Rebel series. The Nikon version works with D200, D300, and D3 models. Please specify Nikon or Canon cable in the special instructions box when ordering.
