Camera - Panasonic HMC40
The Panasonic HMC40 is a lightweight camcorder recording in high definition on SecureDigital (SD) and SDHC memory cards.
The HMC40 has the ability to record AVCHD images at high bitrates using H.264 as its compression. It uses three 1/4" 3MOS sensors.
The handle is detachable and includes an XLR Microphone Adapter and Mount which we include with the camera. The 12x zoom (35mm 40.8-490mm) Leica Dicomar lens contains 13 elements in 10 groups with both low-dispersion glass and aspherical lenses, and has optical image stabilization. The camera has advanced gamma functions that address seven different shooting scenarios and enhance your creative abilities, and is also capable of recording 10 Mpix still images. The HMC40 is equipped with an HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) output terminal.
The 2.7", 230,000 pixel LCD monitor rotates 270 degrees and also is a touch panel screen to start playback, make menu settings, and even focus the camera and also functions as a built-in Waveform Monitor (WFM), making it easy to get highly accurate adjustments.
