Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi

The newest addition to Canon’s lineup, the 450D (or XSi) takes over the introductory level from the XTi. The XSi is slightly larger, which most people welcome. It has a 12.2 Mpix sensor that saves images in 14 bit depth, allowing increased dynamic range and more subtle gradations of tone. The 9 point autofocus system is supposed to be more accurate than the previous model, and the Live View function allows focusing using the LCD screen rather than the viewfinder (Nice for Macro and tripod work).

It can capture 3.5 FPS for up to 45 jpg images (6 RAW images, has a larger viewfinder than its predecessor, and the new battery provides 50% more shots than the XTi battery.

NOTE: The XSi uses SD memory cards (your CF cards won’t work) and its battery is NOT interchangeable with any of the other Canon cameras.
