Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5L

For Sale: Our last copy of the 24 f3.5 TS-E lens rotating out of stock. It has perfect mechanical system and flawless glass, but does have the paint chips on the barrel around the moving parts that most of these lenses get, so it grades at (8/10) condition (our grading scale is HERE ). $899 with a 3 day inspection period during which you can return it for refund if not completely happy, and a 90 day warranty against failure during normal use.

This is Canon’s wide-angle tilt-shift lens. The tilt-shift allows correction of distortion for architectural work and product shots, modifications to depth of field (in focus from near field to infinity, or artistic blurring), and a very accurate way to shoot multiple shots for a panorama.

Roger’s Take: If you have tilt-shift experience this lets you do remarkable things. If your tilt-shift challanged (this would be me) you can still do remarkable things. Once. Then you can spend the next two hours figuring out how you did that. If you haven’t used one before, please note this lens has a learning curve, is manually focused, and takes practice to use effectively. I can’t tell you exactly how much practice, just that its more practice than I’ve had. Even a hacker like me, though, can use them to control depth of field and shoot a panorama after about 30 minutes of playing around. To accurately adjust building parallel lines, etc. takes more experience or more chimping the LCD while you do trial-and-error.
