Sigma 150mm f2.8 EX DG OS APO Macro for Canon

The predecessor to this lens was probably our favorite Macro: superbly sharp, great working distance, and just a super Macro lens that was also an excellent mid-range telephoto lens. The 150mm range allows more working distance when shooting Macro. The new OS system adds about 3 stops of image stabilization, allowing it to be used without a tripod for a lot of macro work. As with all new OS lenses, the optical formula has been changed a bit, and the lens is a bit larger and heavier.
Important Note for 5D mk III and 1Dx shooters:
You MUST turn off Peripheral Illumination Correction in the Aberrancy Correction menu item. Otherwise your images will look like this:
