The Nikon DL24-500 is a large-sensor compact camera from Nikon.
High-Resolution, High-Speed Sensor. The DL24-500 features a 20.8MP 1" CMOS sensor combined with the EXPEED 6A image processor. This combo is fast both in terms of capture speed and sensitivity—you can shoot up to 60 fps with a fixed focus at a sensitivity range up to ISO 12,800. The optical low-pass filter has also been removed, which means you get the highest resolution and sharpest images possible.
Zoom for Days. The NIKKOR 8.8-185mm zoom has a whopping equivalent of a 24-500mm lens on a full-frame camera. The variable aperture from f/2.8-5.6 doesn’t really make this a low-light champion, but its versatility is unmatched. The zoom range covers everything from a wide angle lens to a super tele, making it great for street, landscape, and sports photography. Dual Detect VR Image stabilization and the dedicated SPOT VR keep reduce camera shake even at the long end of the zoom, helping to keep your photos as sharp as a tack.
Awesome Autofocus. The Hybrid Autofocus system works quickly and offers an enormous coverage area with 105 phase-detect capable points and 171 total focus points, allowing you to shoot up to 20 fps with full autofocus.
Versatile Video. The DL24-500 has a rich video feature set. Rolling shutter has been significantly reduced thanks to the EXPEED processor. It can record UHD footage at up to 30 fps internally or via uncompressed HDMI output. It can record Full HD in-camera at up 120 fps, while super-slow motion modes at reduced resolutions even allow the camera to record up to 400 fps. There’s also a Superlapse mode to record time-lapses in camera without the need for post processing.
