Although ENG lenses have traditionally been designed to accommodate standard definition video, the Fujinon 17×5 was built to handle high-definition projects. Fujinon lenses, with their precision optics and image quality, are considered the industry standard for professional video. The lens element (designed for the internal focus mechanism) greatly reduces aberrations and image distortions. The 17×5 has a focal length range of 5 – 85 mm with a minimum object distance of 0.9m and requires manual focus.
Mike’s Take: This is a very nice replacement for the ‘kit’ lens of the Sony Z7U and also increases the zoom.
