This ultra high-speed wide-angle lens is characterized by exceptionally brilliant contrast, superb resolution and detail rendition, as well as being virtually coma-free. The complex optical design with an aspherical lens surface produces an image quality that is unsurpassed in compact 35mm lenses, even at full aperture. Available in anodized black, silver chrome or titanium finishes.
It has 6 bit encoding so the camera will automatically apply vignetting correction (unless you’d prefer to disable that option).

My favorite 35mm lens ever and this one is full of magical MOJO when shot wide open at f/1.4. if you want that smooth, creamy, dreamy “Leica Look” then look no further than the 35 Summilux ASPH. Simply amazing on the M8.2 or M9. PERIOD!(Because Roger has limited rangefinder capabilities, we’ve asked Steve Huff, who provides excellent reviews at SteveHuffPhoto to pinch hit.)
