Zeiss ZM 15mm f/2.8 Distagon for Leica

The Zeiss ZM 15mm f/2.8 Distagon is a rectilinear lens with very dynamic perspective effects. It features a fast f/2.8 aperture, allowing for low-light, hand-held photography under difficult lighting conditions. The lens incorporates a very complex optical design using exotic materials such as barium dense flint with a high refractive index and fluor crown with anomalous partial dispersion. It uses aspheric lens elements and an internal focus mechanism for distortion-free images and consistent performance over the whole frame and across the entire focusing range. The lens is ideal for architectural and interior photography, providing images with virtually no distortion.
Please Note: This lens is NOT rangefinder coupled, meaning you’ll have to focus via distance scale or estimate distance. Also, this lens does exhibit noticeable vignetting in the corners at all apertures by design. As a separate rental, we do carry the Zeiss Center Filter for ZM 15mm f/2.8 Distagon. This specialty center filter compensates for the natural vignetting effect and provides even tonal reproduction across the image field.

Return shipping is included in the shipping price, and we include a prepaid return label with your order - all you need to do is bring it to a FedEx drop-off location when your rental is complete.
