Advanced Optical Design. The Zeiss ZM 15mm f/2.8 Distagon for Leica features a fast f/2.8 aperture, allowing for low-light, hand-held photography under difficult lighting conditions. The lens incorporates a very complex optical design using exotic materials such as barium-dense flint with a high refractive index and fluor crown with anomalous partial dispersion.
