The Dynalite Fame 400 kit is a great introductory monolight kit. It include a 24″×24″ softbox and 46" white interior, black backed umbrella. The Swing Radio System completes the package, offering a ready to use kit for most indoor lighting conditions.

If you are new to off-camera lighting and need something more powerful than simple hot shoe flashes, this is a great all-in-one kit. This two light, AC powered kit is about four times as powerful as your average hot shoe flash and has the look of a professional studio light kit. As far as modifiers go you have both an umbrella and a soft box for different diffusion options. The included SWING radio trigger system is also easy to use. You simply plug the card-like receivers in to the back of the light heads, and attach the transmitter to your hot shoe mount on top of your camera.
While I prefer the Profoto D1 Air for its simple design and varied choice of modifiers for studio portraiture, this is a great option if you’re on a budget and want a complete set for a photo project requiring two lights.
