This is the widest aperture zoom telephoto lens available in any mount, and one of the best lenses in the Olympus system. The 35-100mm provides an extremely fast f/2.0 aperture throughout its entire range, making it the envy of indoor sports shooters everywhere. The equivalent of the 70-200mm zoom lenses made by every manufacturer: excellent image quality throughout its range, but with the ability to reduce shutter speeds by 1/2 compared to the f/2.8 zooms.

How good is this lens you ask? Well, AMAZING! It is the 4/3 70-200 equivalent plus an extra stop. Is that extra stop usable? Most definitely. I’m trying to remember a time when I wanted to stop this baby down, and nothing comes to mind. It’s just as sharp wide open in the center with a quick AF. Will you cry when you get the phone call because you’re 3 days late sending it back? Yep, sorry. Must share with others.
