Sigma 30mm f/2.8 EX DN for Micro 4/3

The Sigma 30mm f/2.8 EX DN is a standard range prime lens option for Panasonic/Olympus Micro 4/3 Cameras and camcorders. It offers a 60mm focal length (35mm-equivalent) that’s great as a walk-around / street photography lens, and its linear AF motor provides quiet autofocusing for both still and video recording.
While the f/2.8 doesn’t allow for paper-thin depth of field at normal distances, its ability to focus as close as 11.81" does allow subject isolation at closer distances. Sigma designed the 30mm f/2.8 with two glass mold aspherical lens elements to minimize barrel distortion and field curvature, as well as keeping aberrations at bay. Like many other Sigma lenses, the 30mm also features their Super Multi Layer Coating to reduce ghosting and lens flare.
