Nikon BL-5 Battery Chamber Cover for MB-D12

The Nikon BL-5 battery chamber cover is designed to be used in conjunction with the Nikon MB-D12 battery grip and EN-EL18 battery. It is for use with the Nikon D800 and D800E digital cameras. It allows the use of a single EN-EL18 battery in place of the standard EN-EL15 battery. When set to DX crop mode, it also allows an increased continuous frame rate of 6fps. However, it provides no speed increase when shooting in standard FX mode.
The rental of this item requires specific instructions from you the customer.
- If you are renting this item and the MB-D12 grip (rented seperately), you must put in the special instructions box that you want the EN-EL18 battery instead of the EN-EL15 battery that comes standard with the grip. Therefore, you will receive either one or the other.
- If you are renting this item, a D800/800E camera, and the MB-D12 grip, you must put in the special instructions box that you want the EN-EL18 battery. You will be send two EN-EL18 batteries and charger for those batteries in place of the 2 EN-EL15 batteries and charger that would come standard.
