Another small, reasonably priced Voigtlander prime lens. Unfortunately for this little lens, it sits right in the territory owned by the Zeiss 21mm and Nikon 24 f/1.4 primes, two of the best lenses made. It can’t compete with those on aperture, of course, but it is a tiny little lens which is sometimes very important. It’s got some wide-open distortion and is best shot at f/5.6 or f/8 where it performs very well in the center. You’re never going to get sharp corners and edges, especially on a full-frame camera. The main advantage to this lens is its small size.
