I’ve enjoyed this lens a lot. It provides good corner to corner resolution and sharpness and that unique Zeiss microcontrast. I find it actually sharper close up compared to at infinity with all 3 copies we have, similar to the Zeiss 25mm. But I’m in the minority there, the professional reviewers haven’t mentioned that. It vignettes pretty significantly even at f/5.6 so I’d plan on shooting in raw to remove that in postprocessing.
