Zeiss ZF.2 25mm F/2.8 for Nikon

The Zeiss ZF.2 25mm f2.8 lens is a specialty wide-angle lens. It has a very close focusing range of 6.7" from sensor to subject, allowing for creative macro shots. It has an aperture of f2.8, which is fast enough to use in low-light, as well as provide background blur.
The ZF.2 lenses are an enhanced version of the ZF lenses. They feature an electronic interface (CPU) which enables the ZF.2 lenses to support all important operating modes such as shutter priority, aperture priority and programmed auto exposure or manual exposure settings even on non-AI compatible camera housings.
These are manual focus lenses. Why go through the trouble of manually focusing? Well first of all at 25mm length its not much trouble. But more importantly, you get the exceptional Zeiss sharpness, color, and high microcontrast that makes these lenses arguably the best prime lenses in the world.
