The SB-900 is Nikon’s top-of-the-line flash with 132’ guide number, FX/DX format identification, and the ability to flash for lenses from 12mm to 200mm from 2 to 66 feet away. The SB-900 also is capable of controlling up to 3 remote flashes and has a full tilt and swivel range.

To be honest, it’s more flash than most of us will ever need—unless we’re controlling off camera flashes with it. Still, it’s the best there is.
