The 35-100 provides an extremely fast f/2.0 aperture throughout its entire range, making it the envy of indoor sports shooters everywhere. The equivalent of the 70-200 zoom lenses made by every manufacturer: excellent image quality throughout its range, but with the ability to reduce shutter speeds by 1/2 compared to the f/2.8 zooms.
Tim’s Take: This lens is ideal for indoor sports, theatrical performances and any other ‘impaired lighting’ environment. Its incredibly sharp even wide open, and one of the most sought after lenses in the Olympus lineup.
