A remarkable telephoto zoom that doesn’t exist in any other format. The 90-250 gives 4/3rds shooters the equivalent of an 180-500 f2.8 zoom lens, the sports and wildlife shooter’s dream. It’s sharp throughout its range wide open, and gets a bit sharper stopped down to f/3.5 when that’s an option. A 9-bladed circular aperture diaphragm provides smooth out of focus highlights, even when stopped down.
Please note: this is a hefty lens. Unless you’re in great shape, extremely strong, and have the endurance of a marathon runner, you’ll want a tripod or monopod for support. To get an idea of the size of the lens, you might want to watch this video:
