Redrock Follow Focus
The Redrock follow focus system is for use with SLR lenses on video cameras. This package consists of the microFollowFocus unit (15mm rod configuration), 3 sizes of lens gears, a micro speed crank, and three whips (3, 12, and 18 inches).
It DOES NOT come with rods or a camera mounting plate.
Please note: For those of you who are not good at keeping track of parts, follow focus parts are very expensive to replace. When you send it back missing pieces, you will be rather amazed at just how much we charge you to replace them (it will be more than the rental in most cases) . We suggest, instead, that you keep track of them and not ‘mix and match’ them with other equipment.
Mike’s Take: Not necessary for most applications, but a wonderful tool to have when you need to pull focus for that one perfect, cinematic shot and it needs to be precise. That’s where you need a follow focus. And this one works great with SLR lenses (and it’s easy to use, too).
