The Sigma is a reasonably priced, distortion free and extremely sharp Macro lens providing full 1:1 Macro magnification. It has a non-rotating front element making filters easy to use. As a DG lens, it has coatings to minimize flare and reflections and chromatic aberration. It can focus as close as 12 inches from the front element.
