The 85mm has a 9 blade circular aperture for smooth out-of-focus highlights, Zeiss T coatings to reduce flare and ghosting, and can focus as close as 3 feet away. It’s a superb long portrait and low light lens. The 85mm has some nice features like a focus hold button mounted on the lens and a clutch that disables the manual focus ring when in autofocus mode. An exceptionally sharp lens that provides an excellent demonstration of why some folks will only shoot good prime lenses.
