Zacuto Recoil Studio Baseplate Kit

This kit is simply Zacuto’s Recoil rig upgraded with their C300 Studio baseplate; just sayin’.
The Recoil is the ultimate rig for the C300 or Scarlet Cameras. Designed to place the camera directly on your shoulder like a typical ENG Camera, the Recoil is super light and stripped down; however, this studio edition also gives you the upgradable freedom of screw in rods.The Recoil starts with a light Studio Baseplate. It attaches to the camera with 3/8” 16 and ¼” 20 screws. The Studio Baseplate features 15mm diameter, 60mm spaced threaded rods that allow users to mount a follow focus, lens support, battery plate, or other accessories on the rig.
The use of the Zacuto Q-Release and Shoulder Pad is unique to the Recoil. The Q-release allows you to mount the shoulder pad directly underneath the camera and be able to quickly release the shoulder pad from the rig by flipping two levers. This gives you two things: the ability to quickly attach the rig to a tripod or vice versa, and the ability to have the camera sit directly on your shoulder for proper balance/weight distribution. Coming off the front of the Recoil is the Zgrips V3 dual handgrip system. The Recoil works best with an external viewfinder. We recommend using the Z-Finder EVF Pro.

Return shipping is included in the shipping price, and we include a prepaid return label with your order - all you need to do is bring it to a FedEx drop-off location when your rental is complete. If you prefer UPS shipping, you can select it during the checkout process for about 10% more.
