Tripod head - Giottos MH 1300 heavy duty ballhead
We’ve been very impressed with the newest generation of Giottos heads: enough that we’ve switched over from our Markins heads. The 1300 is a heavy duty ballhead capable of supporting 20 pounds. Movement is smooth and the friction knob infinitely adjustible making control of even a heavy lens and camera easy. The base rotates for panoramic shots. We send the ballhead with a Giottos MH-57 Quick release plate that has a built in bubble level, and compatible lens plate.
The Giottos 1300 head is capable of supporting a professional level body and a 300 f2.8 lens. For larger lenses, and for those who wish to use a Wimberley Sidekick, we recommend the Markins M10 ballhead.
