We supply Velbon and Gitzo tripod carbon fiber legs providing excellent strength at a reasonable weight. The load capacity 25 pounds, suitable for large telephoto lenses such as the 400mm f2.8 or 500mm f4. Height adjusts from 10 to 58 inches. Lever lock legs are easy to set up and adjust, neoprene feet grip well on most surfaces. The 4 section legs allow this tripod to collapse to a very compact 18 inch length, and the lever-type quick release locks allow it to be set up in an instant. The downside is its not quite as sturdy as the Giottos heavy duty tripods.
The carbon fiber tripods are most popular with wildlife shooters and those who will be doing some hiking with their gear.
