The Zipshot tripod is unique— collapsing to 15", but standing 44" tall when unfolded.
It includes a built-in ballhead, and can support up to 3 pounds.
Roger’s take: Ok, its ultra cool, and you can literally carry it in your back pocket or hang it from your belt. It sets up in a second and will hold up a small camera and lens (3 pounds is pushing it), but a point-and-shoot, micro 4/3 or small SLR and lens would work. Its not rock-solid stable so I use the self timer (or you could use a remote release cord) because pushing the shutter button will cause a bit of shake. But for those “need a tripod for my small camera but don’t want to carry a tripod” times, its great. I know, those aren’t very frequent times. But it is pretty cool.
