For those of you that require more power to run camcorders for hours, power LED lights, audio, and everything else, we are now stocking the Anton Bauer “Gold Mount” battery system. The Hytron 100 provides 100 watt hours of power in a 5.6 pound package. It is a Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery so it doesn’t face the travel and shipping restrictions of some other battery types. An on-board “Fuel Computer” is built-in to keep a constant vigil on the battery energy I/O, as well as critical operating characteristics and conditions, allowing it to deliver a full 12 volts to the camera until it is 100% exhausted. An integral LCD accurately displays the percentage of remaining battery capacity at all times. Case composition endures high impact and protects cells from impact.

Please NOTE: In order to provide you with maximum flexibility, batteries, chargers, and mounting plates are all ordered separately. This way if you want 4 batteries but only one charger (and if you weren’t aware, the AB intelligent chargers are more expensive than the batteries) you don’t have to pay for 4 chargers too. If your camera accepts Gold Mount batteries directly, you don’t have to pay for an adapter plate. If you order just a battery, we will understand that you already have an appropriate Bauer charger and just need an extra battery.
