SmallHD 700-Series Monitor Sun Hood

We are no longer able to offer the SmallHD 700 Series Hood as a standalone rental. In our experience, many of these hoods would break or show significant signs of wear within a few rentals, and in our opinion, they disappointed us and our rental clients too often to keep them stocked.

The SmallHD 700-Series Monitor Sun Hood is an optional add-on accessory for the SmallHD 701 and 702 monitors. Key features include:

700-Series Only. This is only compatible with SmallHD 700-series monitors like the 701 Lite HDMI On-Camera Monitor and 702 HDMI / SDI On-Camera Field Monitor. If you rent for use with a non-700-series monitor, it won’t work.

Clip-On Hood. While many monitor hoods use velcro straps and take the “one size fits all” approach, this one does not. It’s sized exactly for the 700-series, with corner clips holding it firmly in place.
