The RED PRO Zoom 18-85mm T2.9 is a high quality cine zoom lens for PL-mount cameras. It allows users a flexible focal range while retaining excellent optical quality. As to be expected, the PRO Zoom 18-85mm is housed in a traditional video lens housing, complete with geared focus and iris rings and exceptional build quality. It has a close-focus distance of 27.6", and features two opposing focus zoom scales. At 9.9 lbs. and 11" long, it’s definitely not compact. However, when mounted to a camera such as the RED Scarlet, it’s larger size is a perfect match. The maximum format coverage is industry-standard Super 35mm, making it compatible with a wide range of PL-mount video cameras. We include a Zacuto Lens Support to help support the weight of the lens when using a shoulder mount (not included) or other 15mm rail system.
