With tandem leg sections, a 75mm bowl, and a smooth fluid video head, this video tripod kit is a perfect complement to many of the large sensor cameras being introduced to the market.
The 503 HDV head was built to support up to 17 pounds and provides smooth control with light but positive fluid movement and has a tilt range of -60 to 90 degrees. We suggest using this tripod with larger camcorders and heavier DSLR rail support set-ups (camera, rails, follow focus, cinema lenses, mattebox…) This tripod kit is also good for use with all of our sliders and with our Kessler KC Lite Jib.
