Voigtlander 35mm f/1.4 Nokton
The 35 f/1.4 Nokton lens gives a small size telephoto lens on M mount cameras. Its fairly sharp wide open (sharper than the kit lens, for example), and is much sharper by f/2.8. It is all metal construction, focuses quite easily and smoothly.
The Voigtlander “M” lenses are quite small, fitting appropriately to the Micro 4/3s cameras with an adapter. *To use this lens on a 4/3 mount camera you must have (or rent) a Leica M to Micro 4/3 adapter *
Roger’s take: This one is easy: if you don’t have a 35mm M mount lens (and want one) you owe it to yourself to try this out. Its not as sharp, well built and the Leica 35, and the bokeh isn’t as smooth. Its not quite as sharp or well built as the Zeiss 35mm, and the bokeh isn’t quite as smooth. But its pretty close, and costs less than $600. One of those opportunities to get 80% of the lens for 30% of the price.
