This is a 3 foot long HDMI standard male (type A) to HDMI standard male (type A) cable. It works great for connecting external monitors and recorders to compatible camcorders with full-sized HDMI inputs.

HDMI Male-Male inputs are typically found on larger camcorders. If you are shooting video on DSLRs you will need HDMI Male-Mini cables.
