Adaptimax Sony EX3 to Canon Lens Adapter

This Adaptimax Canon EF Lens Adapter allows you to use Canon EF lenses on your Sony PMW-EX3 video camcorder. Canon EF lenses will have a magnification factor of 5.4x when attached to the Sony PMW-EX3. This is perfect for shooting telephoto and macro footage. You can now get images that were impossible with the stock Sony PMW-EX3 lens.

The Adaptimax adapter is CNC-milled from high-grade aluminum before being anodized. It is then fitted with a brass, chrome-plated Canon EF mount, making it a durable adapter that is built to last.

This adapter provides no electronic communication between the camera and lens. All aperture and focus adjustments must be made manually on the lens itself. The aperture selected will not be displayed on the camera, and it will not show up in the EXIF data.

Note: The aperture must be set on a Canon SLR, then you can transfer the lens to the EX3. If you are renting a Canon lens from us to use with the adapter, we will be happy to set the aperture for you before shipping. Simply leave a note in the special instructions box at checkout.
