The BG-E4 holds two BP-511 battery packs, doubling the number of shots available on a single charge. The vertical shutter release button makes it easy to shoot with the camera in ‘portrait’ position.

Keep in mind: When you rent a grip you will receive 1 battery with the grip in addition to the 1 battery that comes with the camera you are renting.

Note: It can also accept six AA batteries as an emergency power backup when on location using a tray for AA batteries. We DO NOT ship the AA tray by default. If you would like the AA tray included, please note that in the special instructions box when you place your order.
