The Canon 600EX-RT is for off-camera use, while the Canon ST-E3-RT is your on-camera commander. The ST-E3-RT uses radio triggering, so line-of-sight for each of the speedlites is not required. We chose three 600EX-RTs because they offer high flash output and work great in a three-point lighting setup.
While this package does come with a compact flash stand for each speedlight, they’re more for tabletop use. If you need more flexible mounting options, we rent light stands and Gorillapods separately. If you need a softer light, our Westcott 26in. Octa Rapid Box is a great addition.
