This is the first time we’ve seen a full Gimbal head which we thought offered a good alternative to the Wimberley Type II.

It is well constructed out of black anodized aluminum with ball bearings in all of its moving parts. It has a nice set-up lever to prevent the bracket rocking while you balance your lens and a bubble level built in the base to make sure your panning is level.

Most importantly, it easily disassembles for shipping, allowing you (and us) to pack it flat, saving a lot of space.

Please Note All of our Gimbal heads require Arca-Swiss compatible lens plates. This item comes with one Arca-Swiss Plate attached.
