The Olympus 14-150mm f/4.0-5.6 II is an all-in-one zoom lens for the Micro 4/3 system. Key features include:
Great for vacation and walk-around photography
Improved autofocus system
Improved build quality
Fifteen elements in eleven groups
What’s New. This update features a dust- and splash-proof design, additional optical coatings to minimize flare and protect from scratches, and Olympus’ Movie & Still Compatible (MSC) autofocus system.
10.7x Zoom. This all-in-one zoom lens gives users a 35mm equivalent focal length of 28-300mm. Its f/4-5.6 is fairly limiting, so you’ll probably want to stick with shooting in daylight conditions.
MSC Autofocus. The MSC autofocus system provides fast, nearly silent performance for both photo and video use. It has full-time manual focus for quick tweaks, with a smooth manual focus mechanism.
Build and Optics. Other than the addition of the Zuiko Extra-Low Reflective Optical (ZERO) coating, the optics remain largely the same as its predecessor. The eleven-group/fifteen-element design includes two aspherical elements, three extra-low dispersion elements, and three high-refractive elements to maximize image quality. The dust- and splash-proof sealing provides protection from the elements, meaning its build is in line with that of the latest weather-sealed camera bodies.
