The Lowel Rifa 88 eXtra/Flo 80 Softbox Kit is all-inclusive fluorescent kit that’s ideal for both video and still shooting. Key features include:
- 32" Softbox. At the heart of the Rifa eX88 is its 32" square collapsable design, allowing extremely quick and easy setup
- Fluorescent Exchange System. There’s several different options using Lowel’s eXchange system. This kit utilizes the FLO-X3 module with three 80 watt 5500K fluorescent lamps, providing roughly 960 watts output in tungsten equivalency. Since your working with fluorescent lights, there’s very little heat generated, making the Rifa 88 eXtra/Flo 80 a great choice as a key light for interviews as well as portraiture.
- Stand Included. The larger size and heavy bulb system means you’ll need sturdy support. We include one Lowel KS light stand with each kit, as it’s designed with the ex88 in mind. The tubular legs and 3.4’ footprint are a perfect match.
Warning: The Lowel replacement bulbs are not cheap, so we send each bulb in Lowel’s protective Lamptubes case to prevent breakage. If a bulb is returned broken, you will be charged for its replacement cost.
