This item is the receiver unit only. You must also rent a Pocketwizard to use as a transmitter!
The Pocketwizard PowerMC2 is a product designed for use with the Einstein E640. It is a radio module that plugs directly into the Einstein and allows the strobe to be triggered by our Pocketwizards. If using the Pocketwizard FlexTT5 as the commander, the Pocketwizards can be configured to allow power adjustments on the Einstein from the camera (Requires the free Pocketwizard Utility Software). On Canon cameras, this is done via FEC (Flash Exposure Compensation). For Nikon cameras, you’ll use the Exposure Compensation dial. With a little more advanced setup in the Pocketwizard Utility Software, you can set the Einstein to track it’s power when exposure-related settings are changed on your camera. If using the standard Pocketwizard Plus III / Plus X, you can trigger the strobe unit but it does not offer strobe power adjustment from camera.
