  • What do all of those lens abbreviations mean?
    • Di II refers to Tamron’s second generation of Digitally Integrated Design lenses featuring coatings and designs to prevent ghosting and flare as well as reducing vignetting with modern digital cameras.

    • VC is Tamron’s take on vibration compensation found in many other lenses from first and third-party manufacturers. This refers to the vibration compensation mechanism used to counter blurred lines that can occur with handheld camera operation, tele photography, and shoots requiring long shutter speeds.

  • Can I use this lens with full-frame cameras?
    • You can only use this lens with Canon crop-sensor cameras.
