The Leica 90mm f/4 Macro-Elmar Lens Kit (Rangefinder) gives Leica M shooters a dual-purpose macro/short telephoto lens. Key features include:

Versatility. When used by itself, the 90mm f/4 serves as a great telephoto with its 2.5-foot minimum focusing distance. When used in conjunction with the included Macro Adapter M, however, it allows 1:3 macro shooting with a 1.6-foot minimum focusing distance while retaining rangefinder-couplling.

Compact Capability. The collapsible design means this lens is much smaller in size than many other telephoto M-mount lenses. It features Leica’s 6-bit coding and the Macro Adapter M, providing in-camera vignetting correction. We also include the Angle Viewfinder M, which allows composing from a 45° downward angle.

For Rangefinder Use. This Macro kit is for the die-hard Leica shooter who eats and sleeps everything rangefinder. If you want to try your hand at this, just know shooting macro using a rangefinder is quite difficult. You’ll probably need some time with this lens and its manual before you fully understand how it works. If you’ve never used this setup before, make sure you give yourself some practice time before heading right out to shoot.
