The Roland V-1SDI-W Web Streaming Kit is a compact, user-friendly HD video streaming kit that allows you to take your mix to the platform of your choosing using a compatible computer (not included) to capture or stream. Centered around the Roland V-1SDI 4-Channel HD Video Switcher, this kit provides a tactile controller for switching between up to three SDI and one HDMI or two SDI and two HDMI video sources in a highly portable package that is both Mac and PC compatible. Does this rental include any SDI or HDMI cables?

This kit includes one 12’ SDI cable that allows you to connect the switcher to the capture card but it does not include any dedicated camera cables.
Rather than bundling a variety of HDMI and SDI cables to ensure compatibility with your camera of choice, and increasing the rental price, we’ll let you be the judge of what you need. You can see the HDMI and SDI cables we carry here.

Does this kit require a USB 3.0 capable computer?

Yes. The Magewell USB Capture SDI Gen 2 will not function properly on a computer with only USB 2.0 ports.
