The Venus Optics Laowa 1.33x Rear Anamorphic Adapter (PL) is an accessory that mounts to the rear of compatible 16:9 frame PL-mount lenses and converts them into a 2:35:1 cinematic widescreen frame while maintaining the PL mount for your camera.
This adapter uses 1.33x anamorphic squeeze to create the widescreen frame, but lacks the oval bokeh and expanded field of view that you might get on a front adapter. That said, it creates extra artifacts and flares for a cinematic look. Please note that there’s a 0.5-stop decrease in light into the sensor while using this adapter.
