Daylight-Viewable, HDR Display. If you want a panel that displays true 4K, you’ve come to the right page. The Atomos NEON 24" 4K HDR Monitor/Recorder’s display features a 4096 × 2160 display with a 10-bit signal processor, making it capable of mapping log footage, PQ, and HLG video feeds from any source with 100% DCI-P3 coverage. The monitor’s 1000 cd/m² brightness means you can use the NEON in bright outdoor environments without requiring a hood.

Built for Cinema Standards. The Atomos NEON offers full-size HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI input and output with HDR passthrough by way of the included expansion modules. These high-bandwidth video connectors allow you to record in ProRes RAW, Cinema DNG, Apple ProRes, or Avid DNxHR formats up to DCI 4K/60p or 1080/240p.

App Required. The NEON line of monitors use Bluetooth to connect to an iOS device running the AtomRemote iOS app that in turn controls the monitor’s AtomOS settings and features. The app provides controlled playback, slow motion, frame-by-frame analysis, and preview tools. Multiple NEONs can sync to each other using sub-gigahertz RF with a range up to 656 feet. The app will be required for settings changes.

Versatile Use. The NEON is essentially a jack-of-all trades, whether that’s out in the field on a DIT cart, setup as a 1st AC monitor / director’s monitor, or in the studio for the editing workflow. Whatever your needs, there’s a good chance it will excel. We include desktop feet and a VESA mount with 5/8" baby pin receiver for support that suits any application.

Power Supply. At this time, we only include an AC adapter with this monitor for power. We do not have a battery solution available. The NP-F slot on the monitor is only for communication with Atomos expansion module communication and will not supply power to the monitor. Attaching a battery could damage the monitor.

SSDs Not Included. This rental doesn’t include an SSD, but they’re available as separate rental items.
