Q & A

Are V-Mount batteries and chargers included?

Since we have multiple V-Mount battery and charger options, we’ve elected to not include any with the rental. However, you can find our available options in the Recommended section on the left-hand side of the page.
We also include one AC adapter with this rental.

What's the best way to pair this receiver?

While pairing in the field without a computer is an option, we highly recommend using the Bolt Manager app and a laptop, at least for initial setup. Software pairing should be the first step, with field pairing only being used as necessary to troubleshoot dropouts or interference on location. We include USB-A cables, so you’ll just need a computer with enough USB-A ports to accommodate the devices. If you’re pairing multiple receivers to a single transmitter, a USB hub might be helpful. Instructions for both software pairing and field pairing are included in the rental.

Does the Bolt Pro 1000 really work up to 1000ft?

The 1000ft range is a theoretical maximum distance in absolutely perfect conditions. Actual performance varies greatly depending on the location. Tests at our Memphis headquarters usually get about 150ft indoors and 300ft outdoors.

Are any video cables included?

With there being so many different variations of HDMI and SDI cables you could possibly need depending on your rig, we’ve elected to not bundle any video cables with the rental.
