Retains lens functions
This teleconverter only supports autofocus if the effective maximum aperture of the lens and teleconverter combo does not exceed the limits of your chosen Nikon camera. This teleconverter adds two stops, so f/2.8 becomes f/5.6, f/4 becomes f/8, etc. Check your manual or feel free to contact us to verify if autofocus will work.
The Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG HSM OS, 150mm f2.8 EX DG OS APO Macro, and 180mm f/2.8 APO Macro EX DG HSM OS support autofocus with the teleconverter attached. See the Recommended section on the left-hand side of this page for links.
The Sigma 50-500mm f/4.5-6.3 HSM OS and 300-800mm f/5.6 DG APO HSM are compatible but only offer manual focusing. See the Recommended section on the left-hand side of this page for links.
